Individual workspace within an artist community

Bufflehead Studios is an interdisciplinary art studio for emerging artists and event space in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. 10 individual artist workspaces (ranging from 82 to 270 square feet in size) are rented in 6 month terms. Our mission is to support artists who are committed to their practice and in the beginning stages of their careers by offering affordable private studio space, educational resources, involvement with in-house art events, and support from a peer group of other emerging artists.

We are also committed to acting as a community resource encouraging members of the public to engage with art in a welcoming and approachable environment. Bufflehead Studios has a bright, spacious lobby and a black-box theater. Both are available for event rental.
